I must say I really have a LOVE/HATE relationship with this time of year. On one hand it's such an exciting time as a tons of grooms-to-be take advantage of the 2-for-1 Christmas gift/"will you marry me" {us guys are so smart ;) You could almost hear the simultaneous squeels from hundreds of brides-to-be screaming "YES" as they opened that little box Christmas morningl!! It really is such an exciting time for couples and for us too!

And as photographers we get the pleasure of talking to couples near the beginning stages which is such a blast. So much excitement!! So why do I also hate this time of year too? Ugh, it comes down to numbers. I wish we could do more weddings!! But as a professional I have to limit the amount of weddings we take so that I know I'm always giving our clients our best. Of course we could take more but I've always been more about quality rather than quantity. And with all of the holidays engagements taking place we've already had to turn away several couples for dates that we're booked for already. I really hate that. ******Really, really hate it. But that's also why we stress the importance of booking the vendors you really want, as far in advance as possible. Nobody wants second best for their Biggest Day!

So I say all of that to say that for 2014 we're almost at our wedding goal and only have 8 more spots available for weddings this year. And like I mentioned, we've already had to turn some away but we've also already scheduled consults for the coming weeks so PLEASE, if you've hanging around our blog and website thinking about getting a hold of us for your wedding, ****please**** do sooner rather than later. I don't want to have to tell you that we just finshed booking our last 2014 wedding! Pretty pretty please, it's one of the WORST feelings to have to say no :(
