Is there any better feeling than when things just fall into place? All to often it seems like life doesn't work that way, so when they do it makes it all the sweeter. And that's is pretty much what happened when Melissa called me one day last Fall to talk to me about her and Jesse's wedding that they were planning. With a family connection to Anheuser-Busch and being the craft brew junkies that they are, they were having their wedding ceremony at the iconic brewery here in St Louis and their reception at the fun and uniue City Museum. As if that were't enough of a good time, I find out that they live in NYC!!

What makes that special is the fact that we were already going to New York to shoot an engagement for another couple. And that's where things pretty much fell into place! With Jesse having grown up in Brooklyn, it meant the world that we were able to capture that chapter of their for an engagement shoot. And even more exciting that we got to incorporate so many personal elements into their session (which you know I always LOVE) like areas that Jesse's childhood Brownstone, Mets and Cards gear, their amazing rooftop skyline view of Manhattan and of course their beloved Yellow Lab, Colby.

With lots of fun planning we set off on a chilly November day and would have no idea how it would end with one of the most amazing sunsets I've ever seen. The photos don't even do it justice. Yes it was chilly but, WOW, unbelievable.

Melissa and Jesse, we're so happy that it all worked out for us to be able to have such a personalized shoot for you guys. I know you weren't expecting that it was even a possibility at first but amazingly, it all came together :) Melisa and I are excited beyond belief for your upcoming wedding this September. After such an amzing time with you two, who knows WHAT that Day will hold in store. Can't wait!!
