So I realize that taking a wedding on my anniversary may not sound like a GREAT idea at first but hear me out. Especially when getting the oportunity to work with such a sweet couple like Anna and Patrick. So how did I NOT end up on the couch after saying "YES" to this wedding? Well it's all in the details I guess you could say:) The biggest detail being that I found out that these two love birds live in NYC currently and LOVED the idea of doing their engagmeent shoot there. So let's just say that Melisa was in love with the idea and we were blessed with the opportunity to not only get to capture Anna and Patrick's love story but also to really get to know them. And I can honestly say they are two of the most genuine, kindest couples we've ever known. 

Melisa and I KNEW beyond any doubt after their engagement session that we were in for a treat on their wedding day. And somehow the wedding day weather gods were looking down on Anna and Patrick and on February 22nd, they had an amazing classic South City wedding and reception under 60 degree skies! And as everyone in St Louis knows, that was a small miracle during this nasty winter! On top of that we had the pleasure of working with the Crimson Petal, Pisa Cake and the always amazing staff at the Lemp Grand Hall and the Scott Laytham and Carl Holmes Duo kept the floor hopping well into the night!

And as you can see, their Day was absolutely breathtaking from start to finish. I know we say it all of the time but it's true, we really have the best couples and having the honor of documenting one of the biggest days of their lives is beyond humbling for us. We are so grateful to do what we do and be able to capture these memories for our couples! Enjoy!
